Last May, during one week, the teachers and researchers of the Center for translational research in Physiotherapy Emilio Poveda Pagán y Carlos Lozano Quijada were visiting the Polytechnic of Coimbra (Portugal) and they shared knowledge with other professors from European universities ( http://globalweek.ipc.pt/ ).
Our teachers taught two lectures for the the physiotherapy students:
«Manual therapy for carpal tunnel syndrome«, Carlos Lozano Quijada.
«Low back pain: Dry needling and manual therapy«, Emilio José Poveda-Pagan
Also, thanks to the director of the Physiotherapy studies, Rui Soles Gonçalves, during these days our teachers shared knowledge with other teachers from different european universities:
«Contribution of rehabilitation psychology in low back pain treatment«, Maciej Wilski (Poznan University of Physical Education)
«Different ways – the same aim. Move and soft tissue therapy – functional point of view in treatment of musculoskeletal problems«; Piotr Kocur (Poznan Univeristy of Physical Education)
«Return to work in cancer survivors: a new challenge for rehabilitation«, Stefania Costi. University of Modena and Reggio Emilia
This week was an incredible experience for the colleagues of the «CEIT-Fisioterapia» and it is sure that these kind of meetings are necessary to improve the future of physiotherapy research.
